NCREA celebrated Ers Day on15 Sept 2011, more than 425 members participated in the function. Main attraction of this year is an audio visual on life time achievements of Dr M Vishvesaraya displayed. Orchestra, lucky draw, singing & Dancing by Rly Engineers performed.

In support of Anna's movement against corruption, Railway Engineers organised a Vahan Rally and protest candle march from DRM office to Dandi Yatra Chauraha Jhansi.
